Snowmass, 81654, and Snowmass Village , 81615, and aren’t far behind, landing at fourth and seventh place on the list with median prices of $3.99 million and $3.7 million respectively.
But no other Colorado zips made the list, with the exception of neighboring Edwards, an Eagle County town which came in 314th with a median price of $780,000.
Colorado Springs own 80906, The Broadmoor area, was nowhere to be found.
High-value ZIPs were found mainly in California, New York, and other coastal states. Manhattan Island alone accounted for 26 zips, while San Francisco numbered 19. Los Angeles’ famed 90210 barely made it into the top ten, with a median price of only $2.415 million.
Overall, the greater Los Angeles area including San Diego and Orange County, placed nearly 50 ZIPs on the list.
Home values were based upon median home sales prices between July of 2007 and June of 2008.
