It’s back! Food Truck Tuesdays return May 14 at the Colorado Springs Pioneers Museum. The popular weekly gathering of mobile eateries will run through Oct. 29. Twelve local food trucks will serve meals, snacks and desserts every Tuesday from 11 a.m.-1:30 p.m.
The kick-off event will feature remarks from Mayor John Suthers along with music in the park from the Colorado Springs Conservatory.
“Brand new this year, visitors are encouraged to drop into the museum for a free ‘History in 10’ Tour,” according to a news release issued my the museum. “These short informative storytelling sessions will run throughout the 2019 Food Truck Tuesdays’ season.”
Food Truck Tuesdays will continue featuring music in the park with the Colorado Springs Conservatory throughout the year.
“The weekly food truck lunchtime favorite was piloted in 2017 at CSPM and quickly became the place to be, drawing approximately 1,000 lunch enthusiasts to the downtown event per week,” the release said.
“We were very pleased with the success of Food Truck Tuesdays which brings the community together each week at CSPM,” said Matt Mayberry, CSPM museum director, in the release. “We look forward to hosting this weekly gathering of local entrepreneurs and the downtown Colorado Springs community for a great 2019 season.”

Lunch options will range $7-15, depending on the vendor. Parking is available on Nevada Avenue and Tejon and Vermijo streets ($1/hour), or in the city parking garage at Colorado and Nevada avenues. ($0.75/hour).
