BKD CEO Ted Dickman announced Tulsa Partner Jeff Ronsse will become managing partner of BKD’s Colorado Springs and Denver offices effective June 1.
“I’m confident Jeff is ready for new challenges as he steps into his new role,” Dickman said in a news release. “His skills and talents will undoubtedly take the Colorado offices far.”
Ronsse will succeed current managing partner Travis Webb, who will become the firm’s national auditing director on June 1.
“With the addition of the Kiesling firm personnel to our Colorado Springs office this past December and now this fresh look from a new Colorado managing partner in Jeff, I couldn’t be more excited about our engagement and commitment to the Colorado Springs market,” Webb told the Business Journal. “Our team leaders in Colorado Springs have been a constant presence in the community and I’ve spent roughly a day a week in the community for over 12 years, so I know what a great place this city is and how passionate our team is about being part of it.
During his tenure in Oklahoma, Ronsse served in key leadership roles, including accounting and auditing director, recruiting director and commercial team niche leader. His practice areas of focus are in the energy, manufacturing and distribution sectors, with an emphasis on private equity-backed companies.
“I’m excited Jeff has accepted this opportunity to become the managing partner of BKD’s Colorado practice,” North Region Managing Partner Barry Davis said in the release. “Jeff’s 18-year BKD career has given him the tools to be a very successful managing partner, and we’re looking forward to his leadership in Colorado.”
As managing partner, Ronsse will oversee the financial management and operations in both the Colorado Springs and Denver offices, support pursuit of impact prospects and monitor client service efforts.
