A major part of the Colorado Springs Business Journal’s mission is to highlight the business success in the Pikes Peak region — from the companies that are growing quickly to women entrepreneurs to businesses that seek to instill health and wellness into their corporate cultures.
In the next few weeks, the Business Journal will unveil the healthiest companies in the city during its 6035 health and wellness expo, slated for Sept. 22 at The Pinery on the Hill. A health expo starts at 10 a.m., with a lunch and awards ceremony at 11:30 a.m. Click here to sign up for the lunch.
But there’s still time to weigh in on two other events, designed to honor and celebrate the successes in the business community. Nominate a company for the fastest-growing company awards — and then join us at the Gold Room for a 1920s-themed celebration. Companies are honored in several revenue categories. The event is slated for Oct. 13. Click here for details on nominations.
Since 2004, the Business Journal has recognized women of influence in the community, focusing on business leaders who also strive to make a difference in the region. This year, 13 women will be honored as “Women of Influence.” The ceremony features Linda Weise, founding CEO of the Colorado Springs Conservatory, sharing how to use influence to change the community for the better. The event is at The Broadmoor hotel this year, and is scheduled for Nov. 16. We’re looking for women who are business-savvy, engaged with the community and have a notable record of success.
