focus_technologyColorado Springs-based defense contractor Intelligent Software Solutions announced that it was recently awarded 12 new contracts totaling $36 million, which will support a staffing increase of around 20 employees.

Under the new contracts, the company will be “providing enterprise reporting and analytics services and software in support of U.S. and Coalition warfighters,” according to a recent company news release. ISS will provide products and services including data management, analysis, pattern detection, command and control, mission planning, mobile software work and other mission services, added the company.

“The amount of intelligence data coming in through both sensors and open source reporting around the world continues to increase at an unprecedented rate, and military analysts constantly struggle to get their arms around this huge amount of information to really understand what is happening,” CEO Jay Jesse said in the release. “Our data integration, analysis and visualization products can dramatically improve productivity by delivering relevant content and capabilities directly into their intelligence enterprises. Clearly our customers see and appreciate this, and we are proud to have been chosen for these latest awards.”

ISS stated in the news release that the work is being conducted for several U.S. military and government agencies. Neal Stein, a public relations representative for the company, said no additional contract details are currently available. He also said it is unclear whether any of the 20 workers hired will be located in Colorado Springs.
