“The Board of Directors is thrilled to have found such a highly qualified candidate for CEO as Jonathan Liebert,” BBB board chair Glenn Strebe said in a news release. “With his background in business development, budget management and strategic planning, Jonathan will provide capable, visionary leadership to move the BBB in the direction it needs to go.”
Liebert will start in that position on June 1, the news release said. He will relieve Matt Colligan, who has served as interim since March following the resignation of former leader Matt Barrett.
“We are grateful to Matt Colligan for serving as interim CEO and keeping the organization running smoothly during this transition period,” Strebe said in the release.
Liebert has worked at AspenPointe since 2002 and was most recently vice president of care operations and recovery solutions. Prior to that, he as vice president of the organization’s enterprise division for five years. He is also the co-creator of Peer Navigator Model, which helps former military personnel and their families gain employment.
He received his master’s degree in counseling psychology and counselor education from the University of Colorado at Denver and a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of New Mexico.
