Rocky Mountain Field Institute is hosting a number of volunteer restoration opportunities for Garden of the Gods, Black Forest burn scar, Manitou Incline connector trails, Mt. Muscoco Trail and many more.
“Thanks to all of you who have attended a RMFI volunteer workday already this spring,” said Volunteer Coordinator Molly Mazel. “We are off to a very strong start to our 2015 field season, and we owe that to you. Help us keep the ball rolling.
“We have lots of exciting projects still coming up which need your help! We hope to see you again, or for the first time this year, very soon.”
Pre-registration is required. All opportunities are listed on the RMFI website, rmfi.org.
In addition to those listed above, projects are Waldo Canyon burn scar and a skills training workshop at the Flying W Ranch.
The RMFI is partnering with the Catamount Institute on a summer camp for youth age 10-12 at Garden of the Gods Park. Details are listed on the Catamount Institute website.
The RMFI is also seeking office volunteers to help with data entry for the volunteer database. Anyone interested may call 471-7736 or email firstname.lastname@example.org.
