Central Bank & Trust, a division of Central Bancorp, has provided a $2.5 million SBA 504 loan to The Arena LLC, which is owned by two Colorado Springs residents.
The Arena is located at 4003 N. Weber Street in Colorado Springs. It is a 20,000-square-foot athletic training center that includes a 15,000-square-foot indoor turf field, multiple training surfaces, three full-sized batting cages, and a professional weight room.
Owners Doug and Kitsen Goldberg have deep roots in Colorado Springs. Kitsen was born in Colorado Springs, and Doug has owned and operated Goldberg Law Center P.C., an estate and business planning law practice. Doug has played and coached baseball for more than 50 years and currently is in his fifth year as varsity baseball coach at Air Academy High School.
The SBA 504 Loan Program is designed for small businesses whose owners want to purchase real estate or equipment. Loan funds can be used to purchase land, existing buildings, long-term machinery and equipment. They may be used for other improvements to modernize, renovate or convert existing facilities.
