Cherwell Software President and CEO Vance Brown received the EY Entrepreneur Of The Year™ 2014 Award in the technology category in the Mountain Desert region.
The award recognizes outstanding entrepreneurs who demonstrate excellence and extraordinary success in such areas as innovation, financial performance and personal commitment to their businesses and communities, according to a news release sent Monday.
Brown was selected by an independent panel of judges, and the award was presented at an event in Denver last week.
“I’m honored to be recognized alongside such inspirational leaders,” said Brown. “This award is a reflection of the brilliant minds and meticulous efforts of Cherwell Software employees and co-founders Arlen Feldman and Timothy Pfeifer, who are devoted to enriching IT service delivery.”
Cherwell Software makes Cherwell Service Management®, a best of breed IT service management solution and the youngest company on the Gartner Magic Quadrant for IT Service Support Management Tools.
As a Mountain Desert award winner, Brown is now eligible for consideration for the Entrepreneur of the Year 2014 national program.
Award winners in several national categories, as well as the entrepreneur of the year national overall award winner will be announced at the annual awards gala in Palm Springs, Calif., Nov. 15.
