Four entrepreneurs will present their innovations and receive real-time feedback from a group of successful business people at this week’s MashUp. One lucky entrepreneur will win dinner with a startup pro at the Ivywild School.
This week’s lineup features:
- Mike Bristol, owner of Bristol Brewing Company;
- Duane Fitch, president and CEO of Application Integration Engineering;
- Laura McGuire, CEO of Vinea Group; and
- Aaron Stachel, senior associate at Miller Investment Management.
MashUp is a networking event that brings together investors, entrepreneurs, startup pros and job seekers. In the startup world, the right connections are at least as important as a great idea, said a press release. MashUp was launched to help entrepreneurs connect with the resources they need to pursue their ideas for free. Everyone is welcome.
The next MashUp is part of Innovate Colorado Springs, a community initiative created to serve as a catalyst for innovation and entrepreneurship in the Pikes Peak region.
Entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, investors, job seekers, community leaders and anyone with the experience, time and desire to mentor startup entrepreneurs are welcome to attend.
The agenda begins with networking at 5:30 p.m. Beginning at 6, four entrepreneurs will present their innovations and receive real-time feedback from a group of savvy startup entrepreneurs, who have successfully started and grown companies. More networking caps the evening, beginning at 7:15 p.m.
