The Cyber Resilience Institute has announced the launch on April 9 of its Cyber Exchange Meetups in Colorado Springs, events aimed at promoting excellence in the business of technology.
“Cyber Exchange Meetups is a community cyber mobilizing event that brings programs and activities together for innovation, business development, networking, talent connection, start-up presentations, cyber risk awareness and best practices,” according to a March 11 news release from the institute. “This event model also looks to enable entrepreneurial activities and economic development in the cyber vertical.”
The release said that the inaugural event, titled Building a Community Catalyst for Cyber Resilience, will feature a keynote speech by Robert Kolasky, director of the Integrated Task Force for Cyber EO and PPD 21 Implementation for the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.
“Mr. Kolasky is an experienced strategist, planner, and organizational leader and a published writer and analyst, with the demonstrated ability to develop solutions to public problems,” according to the release.
The institute is a nonprofit building a nationwide network community of initiatives and members partnering to improve cyber security and infrastructure protection, the release said.
