A panel of space experts will will address one of the most pressing issues facing aerospace industry – sequestration and budget cuts.

Space ShuttleThe panel, part of Space Foundation’s annual  symposium, will convene April 10 to discuss ways budget cuts will affect the space missions, industry and future expectations.

The Space Symposium, held at The Broadmoor April 8-11, the panel will be moderated by foundation board member Wanda Austin, president of The Aerospace Corp. and Space Foundation.

The panel includes Michael Gass, president and CEO of United Launch Alliance; Maj. Gen. Susan Mashiko, deputy director of the National Reconnasissance Office; Gwynne Shotwell, president of SpaceX; Robert Strain, COO of Ball Aerospace; James Wade, vice president of corporate mission assurance for Raytheon. .
