Richard Caldwell has been promoted to sector manager competitive intelligence at Northrop Grumman, Information Systems. In his new position Caldwell sets the policies and procedures for the application of competitive analysis. He is responsible for the proper application of company policies, corporate and sector priority, and he mentors division analysts through their career progression and trains them in applying new practices and techniques.
Dr. Toby Genrich has joined the obstetrics and gynecology team at Academy Women’s Healthcare. Raised in Colorado Springs, Genrich graduated from the University of Denver with a degree in mass communications. He worked in corporate public relations in Boston where he also received a master’s degree in business communications from Emerson College. He served as executive director for the Pikes Peak Region of the American Heart Association and vice president of corporate development for the Pikes Peak United Way before going to medical school. He has a medical degree from Drexel University College of Medicine and he completed his obstetrics and gynecology residency in the U.S. Air Force at Wright Patterson Medical Center/Wright State University in Dayton, Ohio where he was the administrative chief resident and recognized for his teaching and research endeavors.
Jena Wittwer, CPA, has joined the public accounting firm of Erickson, Brown and Kloster as an auditor. Wittwer has more than two years experience in public accounting from KPMG Los Angeles. She has a master’s degree in accountancy from Drake University.
Andy O’Riley has been named president of the Vocational Electronics Recycling Network, a new operating division and program of Blue Star Recyclers. O’Riley started with Blue Star Recyclers in 2010 as director of materials processing and has been responsible for the organization’s environmental, health and safety compliance. Blue Star Recyclers has a mission of recycling electronics and other materials and creates local jobs for people with disabilities. O’Riley is a 2011 CSBJ Rising Star and received the 2012 Outstanding Outreach Program Award from the Colorado Association for Recycling.
Barbara Lewis has joined RMG Engineers Group as a forensic engineer. She has more than 30 years experience in structural engineering and forensic evaluation of structures. Her experience includes analysis, forensic evaluation and design of structures. She previously owned the local franchise of Pillar to Post Home Inspections where she performed more than 5,000 pre-sale home and commercial inspections. From 1983 to 1999, Lewis worked for APTEK in Colorado Springs providing analysis of structures subjected to blast and other loads. Prior to that, she worked as a stress analyst at Sandia National Laboratories in Albuquerque, N.M.
Sarah Darneal has joined the finance team at MAXX HD Sunglasses as an accounting coordinator. Darneal attended Colorado State University and recently moved back to Colorado Springs after a brief time in St. Louis where she worked as a bookkeeper for a property management company.
Rhea Phaneuf has been named marketing manager at Ent Federal Credit Union. Phaneuf has been in the marketing field for more than 11 years and most recently served as the director of national marketing for Blu Sky restoration. She has a bachelor’s degree in communication from the University of Colorado Colorado Springs.
