Denver might have some competition as it seeks approval to host the 2022 Olympics – from Lake Tahoe.

The Denver Business Journal is reporting that Lake Tahoe has the support of both California and Nevada leaders. The city straddles both state lines.

Denver has started looking into the likelihood of hosting the Olympics, and the two western states recently started an exploratory committee.
