33rd Annual Telly Awards Winner

JSP Broadcast Inc. was awarded the Silver Telly — the highest honor that the Telly Awards presents each year recognizing the best programming in the industry — for its “Race to the Clouds, the 2011 Pikes Peak International Hill Climb” sports programming. More than 13,000 entries from ad agencies, production houses, TV stations, cable companies, and interactive agencies entered this year and JSP Broadcast Inc. came out on top.

Arneson celebrates 40 years

Linda Arneson, Delta Dental of Colorado vice president and COO, celebrated her 40th anniversary with the company this month. When Arneson first started at Delta Dental of Colorado in 1971, she had a temporary position working as a file clerk. She was 18-years-old and the company was called Colorado Dental Service. She worked in nearly every Delta Dental department and has seen the organization through 40 years of changes and improvements. She earned her business degree at Regis University while working at Delta Dental of Colorado and attended Harvard University’s Program for Management Development. Delta Dental of Colorado is the state’s oldest and largest dental benefits company, serving more than a million members.

Ribbon cutting at Credit Union of Colorado

Credit Union of Colorado hosts a ribbon-cutting ceremony March 2 to mark the opening of a new branch office serving the 2,500 members of Credit Union of Colorado who live in Colorado Springs and the Pike’s Peak region. The new 3,700-square-foot branch office, located at 3606 Austin Bluffs Parkway, had a two-day weekend celebration featuring a drawing for a $1,000 Visa gift card.

Peoples National Bank names Summit Award Winners

Peoples National Bank held its first Summit Awards, Feb. 21, in Colorado Springs to recognize and celebrate 2011 performance and service excellence within Peoples National Bank.
