Doss Aviation has won a two-year contract at Elemendorf Air Force Base in Anchorage, Alaska.

The $600,000 contract is for corrosion control, cleaning and lubricating the airframe of two Air Force planes – the C-17 cargo plane and the E-3 AWACS.

About 20 people will be working as temporary workers under the contract.

Doss is headquartered in Colorado Springs and currently provides initial flight screening for all aviation candidates at the U.S. Air Force Academy.
