Peak Vista Community Health Centers has earned a three-year accreditation from the Accreditation Association for Ambulatory Health Care.

The group measured quality of service and performance against nationally recognized standards. The process involved a self-assessment by Peak Vista, and a thorough review by the association’s surveyors.

The three-year term is the maximum awarded by the group.

“AAHC accreditation is validation that Peak vista is not only providing quality care, but also meeting – and in some cases exceeding – the highest of health care standards,” said Pam McManus, Peak Vista’s senior vice president.

Peak Vista is a nonprofit health care organization that serves more than 62,000 people in El Paso and Teller counties.
