In the second management shakeup in a week, Ramtron’s CEO Bill Staunton has stepped down, to be replaced by Eric Balzer, the company’s current chief financial officer.

Staunton resigned effective Monday, and the board named Balzer CEO, according to statements from the company released today. Balzer has been a director at Ramtron since 1998, and became cFO in 2004. Staunton ended a 10-year association with the company.

The move comes days after the company announced the resignation of its Chief Operating Officer Robert Djokovich, whose reponsibilities fall to Mary Chu, who was appointed vice president of operation. Michael Hallabaugh was also promoted to chief marketing officer.

Prior to joining Ramtron, Balzer was senior vice president of operations for Advanced Energy Industries Inc., which develops, manufactures and markets power conversion devices for the semiconductor equipment industry.
Ramtron is a semiconductor company headquartered in Colorado Springs.
