Springs-based Intelligent Software Solutions, is playing a role in a new program designed to provide space system operators with an unprecedented examination at satellites while they are orbiting the earth.

ISS is working on an Air Force program, called Blue Force Status, which is designed to enhance the ability of the Space and Missiles Systems Center at Schriever Air Force Base to monitor communication satellites.

Blue Force Status is in the testing phase, but ISS expects it to become operational very soon.

ISS will analyze satellite data – speed, location and temperature – and then relays its findings to people on the ground who can take action to mitigate any malfunctions or attacks to the satellite.
