Intelligent Software Solutions of Colorado Springs has been awarded a $20 million task order from the U.S. Air Force Research Laboratory for software development.
The one-year contract is the latest add-on project to an existing $500 million program the Air Force gave ISS in 2009. The program is aimed at providing the software tools and services that allow users to process, analyze and visualize large amounts of intelligence information from multiple, disconnected sources.
ISS will continue to support ongoing stabilization and reconstruction efforts with its Web Enabled Temporal Analysis System Tool Kit in both Afghanistan and Iraq. The work will primarily be carried on in the war theater, but will also be conducted at ISS locations in Colorado Springs and Hampton, Va.
The $500 million contract awarded to ISS last year was the largest program ever awarded the company. As a result, ISS has increased its workforce by more than 20 percent to support the program’s need and meet requirements for rapid deployment.
