Lockheed Martin has been selected for a U.S. Navy common computing contract worth $15 million.

The Navy program consolidates dozens of ship information systems networks, and reduces the infrastructure size and associated costs, while increasing reliability and other capabilities to meet warfighter requirements. The new system would be deployed across the Navy’s 300-plus ships and shore-based sites.

For the past 60 years, Lockheed Martin has partnered with the Navy, deploying computing and network infrastructures on Navy ships.
