“It’s really just an opportunity to educate the public about what kind of clean burning hybrid and diesel cars are available to them,” said Colorado Auto Dealers Association president Tim Jackson.
Sixteen automobiles, ranging from a clean-burning diesel RV to a compact hybrid that resembled a golf cart with windows and a windshield, were on display.
Jackson said he was especially proud to showcase a new Ford Fusion Hybrid and a BMW clean-burning diesel car.
“These cars burn 99 percent cleaner than the diesels of even three years ago,” he said. “I guess you could say these are not like your grandmothers’ Oldsmobiles.”
