A new Web site for job seekers is touting itself as the “go to” site for those looking to make more than $100,000 a year.

TheLadders.com advertises itself as an alternative to other sites that are overrun with unattractive, untalented, “average” workers.

Membership to the site costs $180 a year and restricts listings to jobs that pay $100,000 or more.

So far, site administrators say there are more than 1.7 million people registered on the site, and nearly 70,000 jobs are available.

  1. It seems nice; however, if you do NOT currently make 75k+ they do now want you on their “elite” site, infact they even refer you to Monster.com and HotJobs.com. This is rather ridiculous, as many people whom have the credentials for 100K+ jobs are making less than 75K at their current job, thus why they are searching for jobs.
