The hardest part of Kathryn Curry’s job hasn’t been overseeing 180 employees and 1,500 clients during the past 10 years — it’s convincing families that their aging loved ones can benefit from her services. As local franchise owner of Home Instead Senior Care, Curry’s staff is responsible for taking care of non-medical needs for senior citizens. They cook, they clean, they run errands — and they’re involved in personal hygiene care as well.
