Tuesday tours for Teachers

The Business and Education Talent Readiness Project is hosting Tuesday Tours, a program for teachers and parents to hear directly from business and plant managers about their needs for a skilled work force.
In addition to technical skills, such as science, technology, engineering and math, employers also will stress the need for soft skills, such as coming to work on time, appropriate dress and speech, and calling in when sick.
Teachers who take six tours can earn graduate ED500 credit from Colorado State University.
The tours last 90 minutes and are scheduled for Oct. 16, Nov. 20, Jan. 15, Feb. 19, March 18 and April 15.
