Colorado Springs could lose nearly 600 jobs if Bank of America closes its local call center as part of consolidation efforts related to its acquisition of credit card giant MBNA. After the purchase became final Jan. 1, Bank of America announced a series of cutbacks, including the closing of five call centers in Maine and Delaware.
