Danny Mientka vice president of Equity Realty, an investment company, isthe managing partner for two partnerships that recently bought two strategicproperties. Both properties closed July 1; the first, at 908 N. Circle, waspurchased for $350,000, the second at 3730 Sinton Road, was purchased for$500,000.

The Circle Shops is strategic because it is located just south of where thenew Walgreen drugstore will be built. That, coupled with the reopening ofCheers Liquor Store and the redevelopment of Pioneer Plaza, piqued thepartnership’s interest in the 12,973-square-foot shopping center/warehousespace.

The building was built in 1977 and is 100% leased with Wok on the Run asthe anchor tenant. The partnership, called Circle Shops LLP, has spent $8,000for new backlit signs.

The second property is on the northern Interstate 25 corridor and will berenamed Plaza 25 to reflect that location.

Located on more than an acre of land, the 14,616-square-foot, two story buildingcaters to small businesses with leases of between 400 and 900 square feet.It is 95% leased with Personalized Travel and Training Academy as the anchortenant.

Mientka managed the Sinton Road property for several years and said thepartnership, called Plaza 25 LLP, does not plan to do any renovations.
