I would like to vote for more than one in this category. Perhaps in the future, it could be divided into subcategories.

      Joy, which category?

Is Best Place to Wander the last category? I don’t see a submit button, but there are no categories or prompts after this category to go on to anything else.

Aimee, as in the past, as soon as you hit the “Vote” button for each category, your vote is submitted. No need to submit the whole thing. You can also go back and revise your votes until the ballot is closed.

I just voted – at least I think I did. When I came to the end of the ballot, there was no way to sign out, so I logged out.
Please let me know if I was successful.

Rosanne, as long as each category’s “vote” button turns green, you are good to go.

I’ve owned a business in Colorado Springs for over 10 years and we have never had a category…how can categories be added? Our industry would be “Best Event Planning firm” or something like that…

Also missing might be “best massage therapist”, “best dentist”, “best optometrist”, “best local sports team”, “best technology company” (different that telecom and data…there are many other types), “best local band or musical group”, “best place to see live music”, “best hiking trail”, “best biking trail”, “best landscaper”, etc…

    There categories are too narrow?
    Why not:
Best Maid Service, best carpet cleaner, best painter, best electrician, best plumber.

Also with such narrow categories it makes it more difficult for someone to find 25 businesses that they actually have experience with.

Thanks for the suggestions, we will forward those on to our committee for next year. The categories are pulled from the Book of Lists, with the exception of the Write in categories.

Did you discontinue best networker category? I really wanted to vote for Jennifer Taylor at Bryan Construction.

Trevor, we did. Every year we cull the list of categories that get the least votes and replace them with new ones. That way, we keep the awards fresh and new. So if you have suggestions, let us know!
