AHA hosting 24th Annual Heart Ball

The American Heart Association is hosting its 24th Annual Heart Ball, an Evening in Vintage Hollywood, at 6 p.m. Feb. 10 at The Broadmoor Hotel.
Guests will enjoy cocktails, fine dining and dancing, silent and live auctions, and a drawing for a $40,000 shopping spree at the Red Noland Auto Group. Tickets for the drawing are $100 each or three for $250.
Money raised will support the American Heart Association’s fight against heard disease and stroke.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of men and women in the United States and claims more than 9,000 lives each year in Colorado.
Tickets for the ball are $200 per person.

Jammie Jam to benefit domestic abuse charities

Camp Experience is hosting the inaugural Jana Stanfield Jammie Jam Slumber Party on March 9-10 at the Cheyenne Mountain Resort.
Proceeds from the event will help the fight against domestic abuse and support Partners in Housing.
Stanfield, a recording artist, humorist and singer-songwriter, will perform a concert and “jam” session. The event also will include speakers, workshops, an Etcetera fashion show, Pilates, kickboxing and shopping.
Guest speakers include Sara Michel, Lynn Robinson, Dr. Pam Shipp, Cheryl Bartlett, Beth Schroeder, Talisman Ford, Kristen Adelman and Victoria Long.
