Ritter to cite successes with Colo. school reform

Gov. Bill Ritter is congratulating 14 school districts that have shown extraordinary academic growth and excellence using new performance standards.

Under the state’s Education Accountability Act passed last year, schools were rated on success in preparing students for college and careers.

Under the program, 111 school districts were rated as accredited or higher. Only 14 got a higher rating of accredited with distinction.
