Colorado-based Golden Flame Hot Wings restaurant will open Sept. 26 on the city’s east side at 5865 Stetson Hills Blvd. The new location is the fourth restaurant to open since 1994.
A grand opening event is scheduled from 11 a.m.-1 p.m.. and, at noon, the public can watch a wing-eating contest for charity. For every wing eaten in 90 seconds, Golden Flame will donate $25 to a charity of the winner’s choice.
The restaurant is owned by Randy Davis, James Robinson and Chris Perez.
In addition to wings and 14 sauces to choose from, the menu also features seafood, sides, specialty fries, salads and more. The restaurant will also deliver.
